  • Temperature and kinetic energy of gas molecules are directly proportional.
  • Increase in kinetic energy means motion of gas molecules increases.
  • Increase in motion of gas molecules will results in break of inter molecular bond and gas molecules will escape from solution. It decreases the solubility of gas in liquids.
  • Solubility is inversely proportional to temperature.
